[Expert Tip] Unsure About Your Skills Assessment Eligibility? VETASSESS Can Help!

People often ask us if their qualification/work experience would be suitable for their nominated occupation. The VETASSESS Skills Assessment Support Service is a very useful place where you can discuss exactly this.

This support service is a formal, 30-minute consultation with VETASSESS (the assessment authority for the majority of skilled occupations). Although it comes with a price tag of $220, we have found this to be a highly valuable service because:

  1. You can ask questions directly to the assessment authority in charge of your future skills assessment application

  2. They can also recommend other occupations that would better suit your background

  3. It can be used as a tool to find out the key requirements and how to write your statements to address them

Although these sessions are very useful, they are tricky because it is limited to 30 minutes and they will never be definitive in their answers. It is important to know how to ask the right questions to get the answers you are looking for. Wrong questions can lead to information that you can't use when it comes to the time to do the real skills assessment, not to mention wasting $220.

We have helped represent many people in their support consultation with VETASSESS and successfully prepare and pass their skills assessment. We can help you get the answers you need without all the stress!
