Due to a high number of EOIs, Queensland is no longer accepting new EOIs for Registered Nurses.
This is in addition to the temporary suspension of Finance Managers (ANZSCO code: 132211) and Cafe/Restaurant Managers (141111) late last year.
When: 27 February 2018 onward until further notice
Who does this affect? Skilled migration applicants applying under any of the Registered Nursing occupations on the Skilled Occupation List:
- 254412 Registered Nurse (Aged Care)
- 254413 Registered Nurse (Child and Family Health)
- 254414 Registered Nurse (Community Health)
- 254415 Registered Nurse (Critical Care and Emergency)
- 254416 Registered Nurse (Developmental Disability)
- 254417 Registered Nurse (Disability and Rehabilitation)
- 254418 Registered Nurse (Medical)
- 254421 Registered Nurse (Medical Practice)
- 254422 Registered Nurse (Mental Health)
- 254423 Registered Nurse (Perioperative)
- 254424 Registered Nurse (Surgical)
- 254425 Registered Nurse (Paediatric)
- 254499 Registered Nurse nec
What does this mean for me?
No new invitations for EOIs will be given for these occupations from 27 February 2018 until further notice. Unless you can apply for other visas, you should also explore your options in other states. You will not be receiving an invitation and will not be able to apply for your visa.
