If you or a loved one has applied for a Parent visa to migrate to Australia, here’s some great news that will make the process a little smoother.
From 24 April 2025, the Department of Home Affairs has launched new online services for applicants who lodge paper-based Parent visa applications. While the application must still be submitted in paper format, applicants can now import their application into ImmiAccount to access a suite of helpful tools.
What’s New?
Once your paper-based application has been officially acknowledged by the Department, you can now:

Upload supporting documents online

View any messages from the Department

Update personal information

Track the status of your application
Who Does This Apply To?
This applies to most Parent visa applications, including new and existing ones. However, it does not apply to Subclass 103 visa applications that were lodged before November 2018.
How Does It Help?
This update makes it much easier to manage your visa application. Instead of sending documents by post or waiting for hard copy letters, you can handle everything online through ImmiAccount. This saves time, increases transparency, and gives you peace of mind.
